Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trimo platform, including the trimo.dev website, the Trimo dashboard at app.trimo.dev, and the Trimo CLI and daemon software (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Service description

Trimo is a developer cockpit for AI agent workflows. It provides a dashboard and local daemon that orchestrate AI coding agents (such as Claude Code) running in Docker containers on your machine. Trimo does not execute AI agents directly — it manages the workflow around them.

Account registration

To use the Trimo application, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, except as permitted by applicable law
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or malicious code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation

Your code and data

You retain full ownership of your code. Trimo does not claim any rights over your source code, repositories, or intellectual property. Your code is executed locally on your machine and is never uploaded to Trimo servers.

Pipeline metadata (prompts, status updates, agent output snippets) is transmitted to Trimo's cloud service to provide dashboard functionality. This data is used solely to provide the Service and is not shared with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

LLM subscriptions and API keys

Trimo does not provide LLM access. You are responsible for maintaining your own subscriptions with AI model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI). Your API keys are stored locally and never transmitted to Trimo. Trimo does not charge for, mark up, or intermediate API calls to model providers.

Free and paid tiers

The free tier is available to solo developers at no cost. Features and limits are described on the Trimo website and may change. Paid tiers, when available, will be subject to additional terms regarding billing and cancellation.

Docker and system requirements

The Service requires Docker to be installed on your machine. You are responsible for maintaining your local environment, including Docker, operating system updates, and sufficient hardware resources to run AI coding agents. Trimo is not responsible for issues arising from your local environment configuration.

Service availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. The local daemon and Docker containers continue to function independently of the cloud service for active runs.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trimo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from code changes made by AI agents, loss of data, or service interruptions.

AI agents may produce incorrect, incomplete, or harmful code. You are solely responsible for reviewing all code changes made by AI agents before merging them into your codebase. Trimo provides tools for review (QA mode, pipeline history) but does not guarantee the correctness of agent output.

Intellectual property

The Trimo name, logo, website design, and software are the intellectual property of Trimo. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent. The Service's source code is proprietary unless explicitly released under an open-source license.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the applicable courts.
